  • Enduring The Enmity

As I am sure all of you have had the misfortune to experience firsthand, there is a strong tone of Christian persecution in the media these days. A definitive slant against those who profess their love for our Lord and an undertone of contempt, undoubtedly placed by the atheists and existentialists and Satan's agents, gathered together to strike down the good Christian name and cast us as the foulest of the foul.

This is something we have had to deal with; whether it be our blogs under attacks from unbeliever's rhetoric, shouting sinful slogans at us claiming there is no God and we are all fools, providing angry logic against our faith or be it on the television shows where religious types are treated as transparent, racist zealots unwilling to accept anything but a rigid line of hateful faith. There are abundant stereotypes that treat us as though we were a relic, an anachronism of belief that should have died in some fateless, superstitious dark age.

Now our faith is strong, brothers and sisters, because our God is strong! He is a mighty Lord and all time is nothing to Him, nothing He has ever done has become anachronism. While the words of the Bible may lose context in modern translation, that is the fault of man's inability to keep up with God, not the nature of God's word. In this I do believe strongly that the Bible speaks to every age, it is simply mankind that cannot keep up with God's strong ideas and His power.

So I ask of you, brothers and sisters in Christ, where do you believe all of this persecution comes from? Why do you think we are so devoutly hated for our faith? Is it our conviction that they fear, is it jealousy, or is it a simple childish resentment for everything we are?

I for once believe that it is all of these things; that we are disregarded for our true honest belief, that people hate us because we are the beloved of God, and they have turned their faces to the darkness and do not know that Christ is the Redeemer and will accept them no matter what. They cannot swallow their pride, and this in the end will lead them to hellfire and eternal damnation.

This is what I believe; what do you believe?

  • Not Quite The Promised Land

There sure are days I miss America, brothers and sisters. Not that I don't cherish having traveled and am glad I've been able to work with the orphans and teach them how to truly gain God's love and trust in His only son, our Savior, but sometimes there are just things I miss.

Like being able to turn on a TV set and get something other than the news, get myself a good Christian station and watch those cherished stories of sinners gone right, of Satanists turning their back on the Devil's plagues, and of atheists learning that Jesus was waiting and always is waiting for them to see the light. Or just to walk down a good hometown street and see more than one church after walking for a couple of hours. And steak and good food easily available. I guess I took so much for granted in America that I just don't have now, and now I appreciate it here.

This is not the case of Christ the Redeemer; when His promise was not a part of my life I took everything I'd heard about him for granted as I sinned to excess and I copulated and I drank with selfish interests, no now that I am back in His strength and follow His word as much as any man can, my time away taught me that the Power of Christ is the best investment any man can make, not a stock market of faith but no, I say that Christ Savior son of God is the power that gave me back my life after so much sin! He is the One who offers Salvation even at the brink of the worst sin and despair. And I pray for all the atheists and satanists and existentialists and every last sinner that they see the same Light I did and know that it is the way to promise and the way to strength!

I do not miss Christ like I miss America; Christ is with me now.

    Amen.

  • Our Truth

    And now, the conclusion.

What I told the children was simple; it all came down to the most powerful thing in the world; faith. It is faith that guides us to know that ours is the proper religions, ours is the strongest Faith there is. God's word made into the Bible teaches us that we are right and we have accepted this. It is, to be sure, a bit of a wager, but in the end we shall know Salvation and the warm embrace of Christ, and this is what we believe. It's nothing more than a matter of faith, acceptance, and proper awareness of how Christ can change your life and fill you with His joy and none of the false prophets or Satan's liars can do the same. They can give you instant gratification, but in the end, the stench of brimstone behind their sinister promises will sneak through, and you will know you have been deceived.

Praise God, the one true God, and His works, and His word the Holy Bible for sharing with us the knowledge to someday be with Him!

  • Briefly In Question

As I mentioned in my previous post, there are cults and misleaders and foul deception spreading around this land I inhabit now, where men of His strength are cast out and ignored and the lies and Agents of Satan run free. But when I was explaining this to the children, one of them asked what is the difference between the path of Christ and the lies and false prophets? How do we know that we walk the right path, the right faith? It is hard to tell, for the young, what's so different.

I told them my answer, which I'll share tomorrow, but what answer do you brothers and sisters in Christ have?

  • Protection From False Gods

The orphanage recently admitted a boy who was found to have been raised by a nearby cult, idolaters and unbelievers, spreading unwholesome words plagiarized and bastardized from the Works of our Lord. False Bibles spread around town by supposed "men of the cloth" seeking to lead men and women of purity away from God and His only son's Word.

I have seen them in this town, seeking to spread their false word as I do the Truth, and I have endeavored with the heart of the pure that only Christ's soldiers have to turn people away from them and their lies, but their promises are superficial love and quick and these devils truly have a pleasing face.

My work is set out for me; I must teach this boy the proper ways of the Lord, clear his head of the lies.

The existence of cults is one of many things as a good Christian I feel I must watch out for. While America, the land of my home and where I will someday return, suffers from such fakes as Scientologists and Mormons and all manner of perversion of God's word, it is in this distant land I find myself accosted by street preachers of blasphemy and heretics. It almost hearkens back to an earlier age, when the churchmen were forced into battle against the agents of Satan in the streets, fighting Word against Evil, the Light prevailing. Perhaps I'm romanticizing, based on the stories my father told me when I was a young man.

Now I find myself the only advent of Christ's word in this town, teaching the children so they may spread it to the families they will some day have, and spreading the Gospel to all those who will listen in hopes of saving their eternal souls. No matter who will stand against me, I will continue to do this, and in the end, God always prevails.

    Amen.
