Praise Be To The Return
Unfortunately for my postings, we lost internet because of a few sharp decreases in the local economy. As I said before, the missionary rules prevent me from explicit details about where I am, but the greed for man's money is everywhere in this world, so I'm sure you understand.
But a local merchant has been kind enough to allow me to use his computer. I had not checked my email in quite some time, and after dealing with requests from the ministry I found myself missing the glorious children of God I had met in this place.
Since a couple of you asked, I will tell you: I beat back the cultists with the power of the Lord. I have successfully brought innumberable sinners into the light since last I updated, thanks to the Good Book and the power of God it contains. The Word of our Lord is strong, and these men once most Unholy have left that path of sin and iniquity to find happiness and strength. I am pleased by this, even if the cults remain around this poor town. But if I have brought one into the flock of our shepherd, I can bring more.
The orphans are as always, bright and cheerful and so young. It's been so many years I wish I knew what it was like to have that age still burning inside me. They are strong, for children who have lost it all. I teach them Psalms and verses when I can, but they are such a handful. But God's love shines through all of them, and reminds me of why I am here.
Praise God and all His Miracles!
Now, I must return to the orphanage to read aloud from the Bible to the children and prepare food. The good work is never done.

Shame
Today the Revelife team, bless their souls, had an entry about blasphemy and humor. Which I found fitting, as a repairman came around the orphanage today to fix the internet.
He said to me, that like Christ, our connection would be coming back, but unlike Christ, it'd be in the next couple of days.
I am ashamed to admit that I chuckled for a moment, before realizing the utter blasphemy of the statement. The sheer presumption. For all I know the Rapture is tomorrow. And what being a good Christian means is being ready for the possibility of the Rapture at any moment, on any day, with the strength of our Lord strong within us.
It is times like these I do wish I was a better Christian man, in that I would not find the humor in the blasphemy. I am understanding of the unbeliever's lack of sanctity, but I did not wish to commit an act of collusion with his heresy. God can forgive him, not I, for I am just a man, not the Lord.

Raising Up
My apologies for a long absence, brothers and sisters, but the power in our town went out and has been out the past few days. This has led to a lot of confusion, but praise God, the oprhans have stayed strong. The children are quite resourceful, as I have been teaching them that the conveniences of man can often fail, but God's love is always there and always strong.
It has been a trying time. Local cults have tried to take advantage of our lack of power and hot weather in claiming that the doomsday has drawn upon us, and now is time to give praise to their gods for protection. But my God is stronger than any pagan, satanistic devil, and He will prevail, so I ignore their nonsense with a strong heart and advise others to. The blasphemer shall some day come upon his reckoning, and realize his mistakes in the light of God's punishment.
It has been quite eventful, I can tell you that much, brothers and sisters, and now I have many stories to tell.
Praise Christ!

Simple Endurance
My apologies for not updating the past couple of days; the very unstable internet we have at the orphanage went down. It was well timed, however, as we had a bit of a crisis. However the faithful pulled through and we have shown that the Lord's strength is with us and the children, and now all is well.
A more substantial post will follow.
